Inspiring record label Mexican Summer held their inaugural Marfa Myths festival in March of 2014. The remote Texas town played host to subsequent years of impressive, taste-making lineups put together by the MS crew and their musical guest curators. Among the musicians in 2014 were New England quartet Quilt, who managed to squeeze in some studio time during their stay. The end result is a special, two track session featuring a “Mary Mountain > The World Is Flat > As We Follow” suite to start, and an expansive, adventurous 26-minute “Milo” to close.
